Apricot Agate Tumbled Stone

Agate is a variety of Chalcedony, which is a variety of microcrystalline fibrous Quartz. The color is due to minute quantities of various elements; and the banding is due to the gradual cooling of the silica. Specimens are cut and polished to create stunning examples. Apricot Agate is distinguished by the soft apricot color and white bands.

Apricot agate is said to strengthen the bond between parent and child. It also balances yin and yang energies.
